Become an l'Islette sponsor

The opening to the public in 2010 was the spur to begin numerous works, both inside and outside the château, to improve L'Islette for visitors.
Since then, some large-scale works have been completed; the restoration of the chapel and its decorative paintings, the rebuilding of the bridge over the Indre, the creation of a ticket office at the entrance in the west pavilion.

Many projects remain to be carried out.

However, two in particular are dear to our hearts.

The first is the restoration of the decorative paintings in the Great Hall.  These works can be carried out in stages, but the most urgent concern three paintings above the doors as well as the supporting woodwork, in particular the surrounds of the South face windows.

The second involves alterations to the attics to enable our visitors to discover this extraordinary space, the magnificent roof structure and the walkway around the top of the walls.

Obviously, these projects will require a large investment.  So we are asking you to help us carry out these works. A sponsorship agreement signed with La Demeure Historique will allow you to benefit from a reduction of tax on your income of 66 % of the amount of your donation (over 50 €). You can donate -

  • on line on L'Islette's own page on the web-site www.mecenatmh.com
  • by post, sending a cheque (made out to "Demeure Historique - Château de l’Islette") to Demeure Historique, 57 quai de la Tournelle, 75005 Paris, France.

This tax advantage also applies to corporate sponsorship; businesses can also benefit through tax reductions on their donations, as granted by article 238 bis of the CGI.

We sincerely thank you for your support.
